Our dedication to product improvement and versatility of design has allowed us to discover additional capabilities of the Vortex Crosshead that does not add to the operators time or efforts when cleaning the crosshead or making tooling changes.
The VORTEX® Adjustable Die Center (ADC) utilizes a die holder that requires no removal or maintenance, all the while functioning with the same ease as our fixed center models.
If the center needed to be adjusted, the operator can adjust on demand while running or stationary.
The VORTEX® A.D.C. has all the advantages of a Fixed center head and adjustability if ever needed. The VORTEX® A.D.C. Crosshead is available in our entire VORTEX® Crosshead product line.
The VORTEX® A.D.C is unique to other adjustable Crossheads as the die holder does not need to be removed, cleaned, and readjusted every time the tip and die is changed. This crosshead is treated the same as our regular 3 piece Vortex where the cover nut and core tube are the only parts to remove in order to access the tip and die, so the tooling remains centered for the next job.
