Tips and Dies was founded in 1986 by Jim and Everett Milliman to supply the Wire and Cable Industry with extrusion tooling with a strong emphasis on delivery.
In 1989 they invented and patented their first fixed center cross head the “Bull’s Eye.”
In 1992 they invented their second fixed center cross head the “Vortex”.
The overwhelming success of these initial designs required a ramping up of engineering service and outside assistance from nearby Hubbard Tool & Die of Rome, NY to maintain the QUALITY and SERVICE customer’s had come to expect.
By 2002 Tips and Dies Sales, Engineering and manufacturing were re-located to our Rome location where it remains today.
Established over 25 years ago and founded on customer service, Tips and Dies Inc. with our RIPTIDE®, DEAD RINGER®, VORTEX® and BULL’S EYE® technologies is working hand in hand with our customers and leading the industry with American Made Engineering, Design and Manufacturing!
